Song Info

There goes my life

Flashing past me, feeling the same

I can’t be near the heaven I need

On the faceless train

Give me all you can buy

Work for nothing nailed to the floor

I feel truth and scent of the cloud

Filling up with ‘WAR’

No lessons learned, the school of life

You won’t believe in what is right

I’m falling, falling down, lie tonight.

Gratefully yours,

I’m the one who travelled alone

The melting summer won’t make me believe

Love is carved in stone

Pleasure went the wrong way

Ended up in somebody’s car

Pain seems endless, and there’s no escape

Unless we’ve come too far

No lessons learned, the school of life

You won’t believe in what is right

I’m falling, falling down, lie tonight.

It was a bit of a barren spell, 1999. In fact, since Transfection in 1997, I’d struggled for any inspriation at all.  The Roland wasn’t the best Keyboard. Great Piano, but an averagely average keyboard.  This song doesn’t have a title; it’s sort of us trying to be clever but also the song not having a chorus to speak of and a title not presenting itself.  If I was to give it a name right now, it would be called ‘No lessons learned’ but that’s a bit crap isn’t it?  It’s probably best without a title and probably best not listened to again.
