Always tomorrow

Song Info

Rewind and play again

Let’s have another take

Be gentle with every chance you get

Opportunity can easily break

Chorus

There’s always tomorrow

There’s always tomorrow

It’s no problem anyway

There’s always another day

Let’s have another chance

It’s too much for just one shot

Another throw of the dice

Make a wish and give it all you got

Chorus 2

There’s always tomorrow

There’s always tomorrow

The wind’s in your sails

No worries that you’ll ever fail

We always get a 2nd chance…don’t we?  At least we always get another day to think about it

-Douglas

I wanted to write something deliberately catchy, because I hadn’t written ‘catchy’ for ages - probably since Transfection in 1997.  We were having a rehearsal and Ian went outside for a cigarette. I played it for our then guitarist Kevin Bell and Ian came running up the stairs saying ‘what was that?’, Strapping his bass on and picking out a bass line.

You know something’s half decent when you get that reaction.
